So this is my first (ever) Lacey sock. I really like the lace pattern which once you get it sorted how to knit it is actually very easy.
I have not yet closed up the cast on which as directed by Christine of Winwick Mum I do on two normal knitting needles. It's so much easier to start flat then join in the round.
My only gripe with these is I never realised you get a small stripe before each proper colour change so casting on flat has given me a half sock colour difference. It won't matter so long as sock two is identical.
I intend to cast on sock two tonight.
Here it is again at a different angle and you can see the half green edge/ half blue edge.
